Our Melanin Rich Lips Tattoo service is designed for clients with darker lip pigmentation (Fitzpatrick skin types III to VI).
This advanced technique aims to camouflage blue, purple, and brown tones in the lips, requiring 3 to 4 sessions to achieve the desired results, unlike the regular Lip Blush or Lipstick Look Tattoo, which is completed in 2 sessions.
First Two Sessions: Neutralization
The first two sessions are focused on neutralizing the darkness in the lips and evening out the lip color. This initial phase is crucial for preparing the lips before the final desired color can be implanted.
Final Color Implementation
Once the lip color has been neutralized and evened out, the subsequent sessions will involve implanting the final desired pigment color to achieve the beautiful look you desire.
Healing and Follow-Up
The healing period between the sessions can range from 8 to 12 weeks, sometimes longer, depending on the individual.
Pricing
The initial price includes the first session and one complimentary touch-up appointment. Additional touch-ups are not included and will be charges separatly.

“Lip Blush” tattoo also knows as “Watercolor/Aquarelle Lips” lips technique will enhance the natural beauty of the lips by slightly improving the lip size, definition, color and by correcting the shape. There are many colors to choose from ranging from natural tints to vibrant colors. Lip blush tattoo brings back your natural lip contour. Just add a little clear lip balm and your lips will look subtle & natural, just like your own lips but better. It will not look like you are wearing a lipstick, lip stain at most. There is no separate outline. Since there is a lot less pigment implanted in the skin, annual touch-ups are recommended to keep the color from fading.
“Lipstick effect” will give you more saturated color, more defined shape and will look like you are wearing a lipstick all the time. Color can be light and natural (which will give you more options if you like to wear a different lipstick color over the tattoo sometimes) or bold and bright (pinks, reds, etc). Since the pigment is more saturated this technique will last longer than a lip blush tattoo. Annual touch-ups could be done every 2 years or even longer for some clients.
Touch up is a follow up procedure which takes place a minimum six weeks after your initial visit, after your skin is fully healed.
How much work you will need on a touch up will depend on several factors such as:Your desired results.
Your body’s healing capabilities, and ability to retain pigment.
Your dedication to following post procedure instructions.
The maintenance/color boost touch-up session is performed within 12-36 months of the last service to maintain the pigment color and shape.
This touch-up price is only on work done by us, there is no touch-up rate for the work done elsewhere.

Appointments after 36 months of the last service will be charged our current full price and will require 2 sessions to complete
Lips is the most sensitive area on the face to perform a cosmetic tattoo, so some level of discomfort is completely normal even when anesthetic gel/cream is used before and during the treatment. If you are extremely sensitive and don’t numb easily this procedure might not be for you. Lips usually swell right after the treatment, but the swelling goes away completely by the next day.
